Frozen Crunch Bars
Cut and wrap these individually in plastic wrap or foil for easy, anytime eating.

3/4cup packed brown sugar
1/4cup butter or margarine
1/2cup crunchy peanut butter
4cups Cheerios® cereal
1quart favorite ice cream, sherbet or frozen yogurt, slightly softened

1.In 3-quart saucepan, heat brown sugar and butter over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth. Stir in peanut butter. Stir in cereal. Reduce heat to low; cook and stir 5 minutes longer. Remove from heat.
2.Spread mixture on waxed paper or foil. Cool completely.
3.Spoon half the mixture in ungreased 13x9-inch pan. Press firmly with back of buttered spoon or hands. Spread evenly with ice cream. Top with remaining cereal mixture; press down firmly. Freeze until firm. For bars, cut into 4 rows by 3 rows.
